If you’re looking for a free activity to do with your kids, you can head to Rona on April the 4th for a Kiddos Workshop. This Saturday, April the 4th, kids will learn the basics of gardening and learn how to plant seeds. They will get to take home their own seedlings to plant this summer. The event will take place from 10am to 2pm at your local Rona store. There are limited spots that are available for the event, and children aged 5 – 12 can be registered through the link below.
Kids can bring their Rona apron each time they attend a workshop to receive a pin. If you collect 5 pins, you will receive a free gift in December 2026. There are a couple of upcoming workshops listed on the website. On June the 6th there will be a butterfly feeder workshop, and registration will open on May the 25th. On August the 1st you can build your own piggy bank, and registration begins on July the 20th.
