Over the past few months I’ve posted about Deal Dish a few times, and a lot of the app has changed because of the feedback you guys gave me. For anyone new, I’ve spent the last 2 years building Deal Dish by myself to help Canadians deal with rising grocery costs and find new recipe ideas to cook each week based on whats actually on sale. The idea is pretty simple. Deal Dish looks at the weekly deals at your grocery store and turns them into recipes, shopping lists, and lets you compare prices between stores. One of the biggest things people kept asking me for was Android. Its finally here. Deal Dish is now available on both Android and iPhone. I’ve also made a bunch of changes directly from feedback here. One of the biggest is that grocery price comparison is now completely free. There is still an optional Deal Dish Pro for extra features and higher limits. Anyone who signs up directly helps me keep the app running, put out more recipes each week, and keep growing Deal Dish across Canada. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Deal Dish so far, whether thats through Pro, sharing the app, telling a friend, testing it, or sending me feedback. Word of mouth has honestly helped a ton and every bit of support makes it easier for me to keep building. Since this is the first public Android release, there may still be a few bugs or weird display issues on certain phones. If you run into anything, please report it so I can get it fixed asap. Enjoy Deal Dish, find something good to cook this week, and hopefully save some money while doing it. Google Play Store Link:
