Hey everyone, today is the start of the second half of the nation-wide monthly sales, meaning there are even more new deals. Also, in case you haven't heard yet, there's a current shortage of Chicken Thighs at Costco right now. I've noticed it lately, and decided to ask an employee today. He confirmed and said it was due to supply chain disruptions, and that other vendor(s) were outbidding Costco on the thighs. Costco doesn't want to pay the premium because those costs would be passed onto us members. They are still stocking them, just in limited amounts. Just wanted to share this with everyone as it may be across all locations. Background about my posts: twice a week I go to Costco and scavenge the entire warehouse, fighting the rest of the ruthless shopper so I can capture all hidden deals and clearance items (Costco drops around 100-200 unadvertised deals each week. That's the treasure hunt). I take over 600 photos each run on average and compile them into these reports with the goal to help you and I save some money and headache every Costco run.
