Canadian Tire: Global Knife 6 Piece Set and Block - $239 BIG YMMV Clearance

Canadian Tire is clearing out the "Global Takashi Stainless Steel Knife & Bamboo Wood Block Set, 6-pc" for $239 to $269 depending on location, so big YMMV. They go for ~$299 on Amazon, so the $269 is warm, but not hot. Some stores in Ontario and Quebec showing stock at $239 and $245, I believe I grabbed the last $239 set in NB. This set was on clearance at Costco back in February for $289, here is the thread: Three of the knives are great (chef, pairing and bread), the vegetable knife is good quality but most people just use the chef for everything. The scissor quality is excellent, and they easily come apart for deep cleaning and sharpening. Block is meh, too small and limited IMO. Again, big YMMV, but excellent quality for the price if you can find it.
